WordPress Site & SEO for Finnish Yoga Site

I created the Salli Maria Yoga website from scratch as my very first website project, focusing on clear and niche-specific look and feel, natural Finnish copywriting, and search engine visibility for yoga-related keywords. One of the pages #1 on Google.fi for the phrase “yin jooga asanat” – and several other pages perform well in organic search.

Multichannel SEO

Several of my yoga-related YouTube videos appear on the first page of Google search results for the term “yin jooga” and other yin jooga related phrases. The channel is linked to my website, creating strong cross-channel visibility and helping me build organic traffic from multiple sources.

E-Opetus: SEO- and Content Optimization for A Finnish Private Education Site

I helped a Finnish special education teacher improve the structure, content, and search engine visibility of her website. The goal was to clarify the service offering, highlight the teacher’s expertise, and make the site easier to find through relevant keywords.

Restructuring the site map for improved clarity and navigation

The homepage was redesigned to highlight key services like special education and private lessons in math and English.

The Results

The project was a success. Google Search Console data clearly shows a significant increase in both impressions and clicks starting from May, when the optimization began, with further growth following the site’s relaunch in mid-June.

The client also reported a noticeable rise in client inquiries shortly after the updates were implemented.
